Poker Tournament Rules
Our poker tournaments adhere to The Poker Tournament Directors Association (TDA) General Rules. To review these rules, click here.
1. Lead Dealer Authority

The lead dealer assigned to each game has the final decision on all rule calls.

This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Hand or pot disputes

Bonus chip allocation
-
Closing of sign-ups for the first and subsequent games

2. Game Sign-Up
-
Players must sign up on the provided list upon arrival at the venue.
3. Seat Assignments
-
Players may choose their seats when signing up if the venue allows.
-
Depending on the venue, names may be called out before the game starts to assign seats.

Tournament staff may reassign seats as needed to ensure balanced tables.
4. Late Arrivals & No-Shows
-
Players arriving late may only be added to the tournament if seating allows and before a designated cut-off time.

If a player signs up but is not present when the game begins, their seat may be forfeited.
5. Disruptive Play & Abusive Behavior
-
Disruptive behavior, including excessive talking, slow play, or failing to act in a reasonable time, will receive a warning or penalty.

Abusive behavior towards other players, dealers, or bar staff will not be tolerated.

This includes but is not limited to:

Throwing cards or chips

Verbal insults or offensive language
-
Any other unsportsmanlike conduct

Consequences may range from a warning to immediate disqualification.
6. Physical Altercations
-
Any player who engages in physical violence will be immediately ejected.

A minimum three (3) game suspension will be enforced.

Local authorities may be called in accordance with bar regulations.
7. Cheating & Collusion

Any player caught cheating (e.g., marking cards, colluding, chip dumping) will be immediately ejected.

They will be permanently banned from all future games.
8. Chip Stacking & Manipulation
-
Players must keep their chips visible at all times and not obscure or misrepresent their stack.

Any attempt to hide chips, pocket chips, or manipulate stacks will result in penalties or ejection.
9. Electronic Devices & Distractions
-
Players may not use their phones or other electronic devices while involved in a hand.
-
Excessive phone use that disrupts the game may lead to a warning or penalty.
10. Alcohol & Intoxication
-
Players who appear overly intoxicated and disrupt the game may be asked to leave.
-
Excessive drinking that leads to disorderly conduct will result in ejection from the tournament.
11. Rule Changes & Final Decisions
-
The tournament organizers reserve the right to adjust or amend rules if necessary.

All final decisions will be made at the discretion of the lead dealer and tournament staff.
Blind Levels
League reserves the right to modify blind levels at any venue to speed up game play.
Blind levels for games 2+ may vary.

Points Structure
Players received 100 points per game played. Players must sign up on list to receive points.
